About Watchstrapco

Crafted for the Exceptional

Patek Philippe 5524G with Watchstrapco leather strap

At Watchstrapco, we believe that a truly exceptional timepiece deserves an equally exceptional strap. Founded by watch enthusiasts who understood that the strap is not merely an accessory but an extension of the watch itself, we set out to create something the market was missing: straps worthy of the world's most prestigious watches.

Our Story

Watchstrapco was born from a singular obsession — the pursuit of perfection in every detail. Our founders spent years studying the construction of fine leather goods, the properties of exotic materials, and the exacting standards demanded by collectors of Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and other horological icons. What began as a passion project quickly became a trusted name among discerning collectors worldwide.

We are based in Singapore, a city that sits at the crossroads of East and West — a fitting home for a brand that bridges old-world craftsmanship with modern precision.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Every strap we produce begins with the finest raw materials sourced from the world's most respected tanneries and suppliers. We work exclusively with:

  • Grade-A exotic leathers — including alligator, crocodile, ostrich, and lizard — selected for consistent grain, suppleness, and longevity
  • Premium rubber and FKM — engineered for comfort, durability, and resistance to perspiration and UV exposure
  • Satin-finished and brushed metals — for buckles and deployant clasps that complement the finishing of your watch

Each strap is hand-stitched by skilled artisans using waxed linen thread, with stitching tension and stitch count calibrated to match the aesthetic of the watch it is paired with. Edges are hand-painted and burnished through multiple passes to achieve a clean, refined finish that holds up over years of wear.

Precision Fit for Prestigious Watches

Fitting a strap to a Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, or Patek Philippe Nautilus is not a generic exercise. Each reference has its own lug geometry, case curvature, and aesthetic language. Our team studies each watch model in detail, ensuring that every strap we produce sits flush against the case, aligns with the watch's design DNA, and functions flawlessly with the original deployment system.

We maintain precise specifications for hundreds of references, so you receive a strap that looks and feels as though it was made by the manufacturer themselves — because in many ways, it was made to that standard.

Our Quality Standard

Before any strap leaves our workshop, it passes through a rigorous multi-point inspection covering:

  • Stitching consistency and thread tension
  • Edge finishing and paint adhesion
  • Lug width accuracy and taper precision
  • Hardware alignment and clasp function
  • Leather grain and surface uniformity

We reject any piece that does not meet our standards — no exceptions. Our customers are investing in watches that represent decades of savings or significant milestones. The strap they choose deserves the same level of scrutiny.

Why Watchstrapco

There are many strap makers in the world. Very few specialise exclusively in the upper tier of horology. We do not make straps for fashion watches. We do not cut corners on materials to hit a lower price point. We exist for one purpose: to provide collectors of the world's finest watches with straps that are worthy of them.

When you purchase from Watchstrapco, you are not simply buying a strap. You are investing in craftsmanship that respects your watch, your taste, and your time.
